Danivé “Art Explosion” F/W 2011-2012

10 September 2013

Once again Danivé takes us through a unique path of tailoring evolution for its Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection. Danivé plays with the movement, harnesses it in the fabrics and blows it up at the end, creating forceful effects of speed, progress and change. Futurism inspires all these new emotions, it symbolizes a new society that evolves fast, keeping up with the times, modifying aspects of everyday life. Danivé reinterprets all this and expresses it through motion textures and never flat surfaces, with bouclé or devoré wools, with furs or sequins inserted in the fabrics. Clean volumes and cold colours, as grey and sand palettes, match steel and gold metals, completing the first part of the work.
The play become visible through the light. Graphics change. Cuts, enriched by pleats and drapes, enhance volumes. Colours bush. Metamorphosis process has started. Range of turquoise, green and azure introduces the news of jewelled details on the clothes: replaceable appliqués that make each Danivé garment unique.
Everything gets emphasized. The strong volumes of gathers are brought out and the colour takes on the leading role in the total red for jersey little dresses and in the fuchsia for jacquard furs and coats. Turquoise wools finely mixed with white and grey, shiny silk printings, fashion camouflage, black and red toned georgette complete the stylistic change studied by Valentina Cremona for the FW 2011-20112 collection.
